The BYUI Track and Field Meet of June 6, 2015

The track meet went well. My games manager was out of town, so I had to get my own volunteers. Rachel Dunlap, Jessica Ledesma, Brenden Stevens, and Shandarae Williams helped out. Most friends were from my Temple to Temple relay team. Everyone was in good spirits. The events were run well. Rachel was the announcer, and I was able to work with her well. Jessica ran the scoreboard. She was proud that her time was only hundredths of a second off from the official time. Two school records were broken. Dominic Masiarchn ran a 10.57 for the 100 meter dash, and Kasey Taylor broke the shot put record throwing 48' 5"; just an inch further than the previous school record. I had Rachel announce that Dominic broke the 100 meter dash school record, and I was surprised that the people in the stands applauded his performance. A sister came to film the meet, and she is making a video for the scroll this coming week, and I look forward to see that. She was able to film most of the events, and interview coaches and a few athletes. We had a hard time giving athletes records because our timing system was inaccurate, so I had Brother Stutz be the head timer. He is the most experienced in the sport. I would go around and asked people for feedback about the sport, and Brother Stutz said that he was having fun.

This week has been productive somewhat. I gave blood on Tuesday, and Jessica and I received our Valentine's Day packages on that day too. On Wednesday when Jessica and I began to Skype, a thought popped up in my mind, saying "You should not be dating her." This is not the first time that this happened, so I gave it some thought. Today is Sunday, and Jessica and I are fasting to confirm this prompting today. Pondering the thought that I should not be dating Jessica was unbearable last night, and I expressed it to her.  Also on Wednesday night, I prayed for a missionary opportunity, and the next day my work situation changed. I did my taxes on Saturday.      The opportunity to give blood became exciting on Tuesday, when I found out that my blood type is O positive. I was told that I can do a special donation where I give double the red blood cells. Laptop Review

A3 Ultra-slim 14.0" LCD Screen 1366x768 Windows 7 Intel D2500 + NM10 Dual Core 1.86GHz 1GB RAM Laptop Computer with Wi-Fi (160GB HD) (Silver) From Focalprice A Completely Lousy Chinese Product I bought this laptop for my brother, expecting that it would run according to it's specs, but it didn't. The version of Windows 7 was many years old, making it very slow. It would have taken forever for my brother to update it, so he put Linux on it. When he did that, he found that the laptop would not hold the operating systems. He would have to install the software over and over. He found an operating system that seems to be holding, which works okay; however, the battery only lasts about 40 minutes now, since he accidentally let it die. It is basically a laptop from the nineties.

Hello, New Beginnings New Duties

"Now is the time for members and missionaries to work together, to come together, to labor in the Lord's vineyard, to bring souls unto him" -President Monson this is the last new member lesson we had with Silvester ans my last time teaching with  y hermana Arevalo We had the best Family night (f.h.e) ever!! with Roxana and her three children, her husband and good friend of hers who is a member from a different branch. COol right she took initiative to invite others to come over for family time! that was exciting and plus she loves inviting our investigators to it all the time, she is the perfect fellow-shipper. We had a lesson on hte importance of praying as a family and studying the scriptures by topic. I gave them all a topics such as faith, hope charity, love etc. and they paired up in teams we had htem look under the GEE or Topical guide read the definition and look up scriptures, analyze them and share it with the group.
