So in the world of today: -Baltimore had a curfew imposed. -Lois Lerner deleted 6400 emails before they could be handed over to congress. -The military is working on self-guided bullets. -Protests in Ferguson led to violence. -Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlins Blake is in hot water for not making looting a priority during the riot. -The Pope condemned salary gaps between men and women. -Isis supporters claim that Isis has infiltrated Italy. -The Cayman Islands ship seized by Iran may’ve been in international waters. -111 people arrested following the Baltimore riots are still being held by police without being formally charged. -NYC banned political ads from public transit to block pro-Israel ads from going up.

So in the world of today: -People in NYC have been protesting police brutality. Dozens were arrested. -A witness claimed that Freddie Grey may’ve been responsible for his own injuries. -Lots of teachers protested cuts to pay and benefits in Brazil. Over 150 were injured. -Hundreds of Ethiopians in Jerusalem protested racism.  -Iran’s upset with Saudi Arabia for intercepting an Iranian plane. -A poll on Religious liberty and gay rights found that when the two came into conflict most Americans would support religious liberty over gay rights. -Nigeria recued 160 women and Children from Boko Haram. -a study on American internet searches using ‘the N-word’ found that most came from people in the North Eastern US.

So in the world of today: -a riot broke out in Baltimore following Freddie Grey's funeral. Anarchists used social media to stay ahead of police. The National Guard had to be sent out. -over 5000 are reported dead from the Nepal Earthquake. -The remaining buildings in the Nepal earthquake zone are 90% unusable. -The NFL gave up its tax exempt status. -Yet another Bakery is being closed by state lawsuits for refusing to cater a gay wedding. -Finland lobbed bombs at a ‘possible Russian submarine’. -The Supreme Court declared The Obamacare contraception mandate unconstitutional. -Iran seized a Marshal Islands commercial cargo ship that was in their waters. -The DHS admitted to letting several criminal suspects go free under the President’s deferred action for childhood arrivals program. -The pope came out in favor of the UN’s climate control measures.

So in the world of today: -Bluebell is recalling all of its products for fear of Listeria contamination. -53% (according to a CNN poll) approve of the death penalty for the Boston bomber. -The highest ranking catholic bishop in the US had to resign for covering up sex abuse cases. -950 migrants were killed in the Mediterranean when their ship capsized. -South Africa’s people are having trouble coping with the number of immigrants the country is receiving.  -Muhammad Mosey (x Egyptian president) was sentenced to 20 years in jail. -A tornado in Brazil left 1000 people without homes, and killed two. -North Korea threatened the US ambassador to South Korea.

So in the world of today: -Apartment living is up, while home ownership is down. -Some experts worry that another money crisis is coming. -The US is working to keep Iranian ships from reaching Yemen. - Medicare has begun pulling cash out of hospitals, with the promise that the money will be refunded if the patients give the hospitals high marks. -The UN is asking for 30 million to help Palestinian refugees. -A Maine primary school is in hot water for teaching kids about Transgender issues behind the parents’ backs. -A Texas woman was fined 2000$ for feeding poor people out of her restaurant.

So in the world of today: -The ACLU is suing to force catholic aid organizations to provide abortion and contraception to illegal minors. -the death toll in the Syrian civil war has reached 70,000. -UN food vouchers meant for Syria’s people were stolen and sold. -There was a series of explosions in Baghdad, including one outside the US embassy. -both parties in the house are pushing for a higher gas tax. -The FBI has been investigating Chris Roberts- a man responsible to blowing the whistle on airplane security vulnerabilities.  -A new type of gun with a finger print sensor is being developed.  -Kansas passed a bill to limit welfare money to essential items only.

So in the world of today: -Georgia legalized medical marijuana. -Isis’s latest attack in Iraq forced over 2000 people to evacuate. -Christians across the country have begun wearing orange as a show of support for the Christians being slaughters by Isis. -Radioactive materials in Mexico were stolen. -Texas officials announced that there isn’t Isis camp south of the border. -Americans on the no-fly list will now be able to find out why they are on the list. -Tennessee is considering a symbolic gesture to make the Bible its State Book.

So in the world of today: -2000 foreigners are in South African refugee camps. -The flakka drug (or bath salts) are becoming more and more popular among teens. -Hourly wage earners across the country protested for higher wages. -Cuba was officially removed from the terror list, after it was revealed the Cuba has not supported any terrorist actions or organization during the last six months. -The senate approved upping the deficit by 141 billion for Medicare purposes.

So in the world of today: -Isis has set up a camp in Mexico, just south of the US border.  -Obama asked that Cuba be removed from the terror list. - Ice released and lost track of at least 66,000 illegal criminals in last two years. (600 were murderers, rapists or kidnappers) -A coalition of Christian churches (including the LDS) petitioned the Supreme Court to recognize marriage as being exclusively between a men and a women. -An Al Qaeda leader was killed. -Four TSA workers were involved in a scheme to grope passengers. Two of them were fired. -Hundreds in New York protested police brutality. -Average rent for US apartments are set to rise. - Congress is passed a bill to force the Obama administration to be forthcoming about the Iran deal.

So in the world of today: (long one today) -There was a shooting at North Carolina community college. One person died. The shooter wasn't caught. -Thousands in Spain protested a new safety law they far will endanger civil rights. -Israel is asking for more support against Isis and terror from the rest of the world. -Chile legalized same sex unions. -Russia legalized the sale of air missiles to Iran. -China released three women’s right activists. -Boko Harem forced 800,000 kids out of their homes. -Australia is cutting parents who don’t vaccinate off from child care support. -China’s exports dropped by 14.6% -Christians all over the country are coming under fire for refusing to participate in or host Gay weddings. -Iran may be sending missiles to rebels in Yemen.

So in the world of today: -memorial pizza in Indiana reopened. -Iran said it would not agree to any deals unless all sanctions were lifted.

Just got a  hands on a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge in T-mobile here in Milpitas. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is impressive. The phone feels rock solid and the rounded sides feels nice and gives the screen a more immersive display. I watched a video in YouTube and the looks HD. The volume of the stereo is pretty good. The best thing though is the new Image Stabilizing 16MB camera. I took a quick selfie and my brother Alex and I were greatly surprised by the quality. The zoom wasn't pixilated and made my face as if it was airbrushed. The build quality itself. I enjoyed it $700 but it looks like the best contender for your buck compared to the HTC One M9

This is the first of its kind. -Russia hacked the white house computer system. -1200 were arrested in a coordinated police and homeland security crackdown on crime. -Ferguson’s city council is now half white and half black. -North Korea says Mexico took one of its ships and it blames the US. -The Iranian foreign minster announced that Iran would being using some of its more advanced centrifuges as soon as the nuclear deal with US goes into effect. -A federal judge refused to life the hold on Obama’s Immigration executive action. -Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was found guilty for the Boston bombing.

So in the world of today: -Isis is gaining ground in Syria. -Thousands of copies of ‘the interview’ were dropped into North Korea by a defector. -Russia voted to prosecute a lawmaker who voted against the Crimean invasion for invasion. -Obama said (according to the AP) that with the new nuke deal Iran would have have nuclear weapons for about 13 years. -Greece is asking Germany for money to pay for the Nazi occupation.

So in the world of today: -Isis propaganda is targeting Rick Santorum for some reason. -The Pope asked that something be done about the slaughter of Christians in the Middle East. -Kenya launched airstrikes against al-Shabaab -Turkey’s blocking social media sites.

 So I am Sister Crooks from Jamaica more so the Savanna-la-mar Branch. I am an editor of this page, and so since today is General Conference.      I want to share a bit of what I have learned so far. Firstly we are taught that Godly Fear dispels all mortal fear. The bright light of Godly Fear will chase away the darkness of all mortal fear. Godly Fear helps our hearts not to be troubled. Love comes from us but marriage comes from God above.      O ne of God's greatest gift to us is to "Try Again". The Church is like a big hospital we all have different sickness  and we come for help through being spiritually filled. Evaluate your life, repent and try again. The service that counts the most are usually the one that are recognized by the Lord.......Think about this...........

So in the world of today: -Obama praised the LDS churches support of equal rights for homosexuals and its humanitarian work. -North Korea is looking for women to join Kim Jong Un’s “pleasure squad”. I am not making this up!

So in the world of today: -Over a million Christians in the Middle East have been killed or displaced since the outbreak of the Isis war. -Standards on who can be soldiers are set to be lowered. -Indiana amended it's religious freedom law to ensure that homosexuals would receive no discrimination in housing or jobs. -A federal judge ordered California to pay for a prisoner’s sex reassignment surgery. -Isis lost some territory in Iraq. -Al Qaeda freed 270 prisoners. -US diplomats tentatively agreed to lift many of Iran’s sanctions, in exchange for them slowing down their nuclear research. Israel is not pleased. -There was a shooting at a Kenya college. 147 were killed. -New York Boy Scouts hired a gay leader. -Memories pizza (mentioned yesterday) has since received thousands from supporters.

So in the world of today: -Arkansas’ governor refused to sign his states religious freedom bill. -California issued mandatory water restrictions. -China’s building a sand bank in disputed waters. -The owners of Memories Pizza in Indiana were harassed, and had their --business threatened for refusing to cater a gay wedding. -Obama called Indiana’s religious freedom laws unthinkable. -McDonalds is raising pay for employees.

So in the world of today: -Indiana is taking heat for its freedom of religion law. -Muhammadu Buhari was elected president of Nigeria -Obama shortened the sentence times for 22 drug prisoners. -Niger destroyed a Boko Harem base. -The white house announced that it would be making a clime deal with the -UN without interference from congress. -A study found that the birth control pill may be responsible for reducing fish population. -Common core will now be avoiding any mention of the following topics: hunting for sport, deportation, climate change, abortion, gun control, pregnancy, prayer, Halloween, animal abuse, and the disturbing aspects of slavery.
