Roxy's Stats: 'Invitations from our Beloved Prophet'

Hi guys
So today I am sharing the invitations that was given from our Beloved Prophet Thomas S. Monson. His invitations were more so focused on the Temple and so we need to be focus on it as one of the most important thing in our lives to do.....We are to always strive to have the Temple in our sights even if you do not live where a Temple is, put out your utmost effort to do all you can in order to attend the nearest one to you and your lives will be blessed....

Attend the temple

During the April 2015 general conference, President Thomas S. Monson bore testimony of the blessings of temple attendance:

“As we go to the temple, as we remember the covenants we make there, we will be better able to overcome those temptations and to bear our trials,” he said. “In the temple we can find peace. …

“May our Heavenly Father bless us that we may have the spirit of temple worship, that we may be obedient to His commandments, and that we may follow carefully the steps of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”

Express gratitude for Jesus Christ's gifts

As we celebrate Easter, “may we offer prayers of gratitude for His great and marvelous gifts to us.”

Reflect on responsibilities and duty of callings

“Let us consider our callings,” he said. “Let us reflect on our responsibilities; let us determine our duty; and let us follow Jesus Christ, our Lord.”

Quoting Doctrine and Covenants 121:45, he said, “Let thy bowels also be full of charity towards all men, and to the household of faith, and let virtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly.”

Learn of and follow Jesus Christ

“We are engaged in the work of the Lord Jesus Christ,” he concluded. “Let us learn of Him. Let us follow in His footsteps. Let us live by His precepts.”

Priscilla Pringle's Predicament - Reader's Theater at Lethbridge Whoop-U...

This week was quite fun for me because I got to portray the main antagonist in a Reader's Theater called 'Priscilla Pringle's Predicament/All's Swell That Ends Swell' that Playgoers of Lethbridge put on at Lethbridge Whoop-Up Days 2017. The story was written by Ed Bayly, a truly wonderful individual. Doing the performances all week reminded me of how much I love participating in theater. 'Telling the Truth' by Lesego Mholo

I'd rather be hurt by you telling me the truth than lies. Keep deceiving people and think they don't know. One day it will catch up with you. The truth hurts when its contrary to what your made to believe.  In one way or another lies always catch up with us, our consciousness doesn't let us lie for too long. Lying affects trust and loyalty in a relationship when your lied to you feel like you no longer belong you feel inadequate, telling the truth solidifies a relationship bond, and it might signify love or care; furthermore, telling the truth to me it tells that your emotionally mature. The truth makes me feel secure. Sometimes we give our hearts to people, and they think we are stupid for that we end up depending on them for loyalty. Truth is the only way two people can survive in a relationship and mutual understanding but reassurance and trust are the only things that might keep the relationship functioning. Dishonesty is the beginning of a fading relationship and
